Heath Saunders has spent well over a decade professionally in the theater industry wearing just about every hat imaginable, including literal hats they built while working in a costume shop in 2007.
They’re best known for their work as a Broadway actor and diversity dramaturg, but their artistic passions extend most specifically into music writing and aural design–the sound of music, as it were.
Claire Saunders
Chief People Officer
While Claire’s decade as an arts professional has been largely on camera & on stage, her leadership and culture development abilities have expanded through work in educational settings including Molloy University, Columbia Prep, and NADSA. She has taken roles in corporate consulting and is currently studying to be an Intimacy Director/Coordinator with IDC.
Alanna Saunders
Chief Marketing Officer
Alanna is an artist primed to investigate what will satisfy our Spectra customers’ and users’ needs in a way that brings joy. Her work as a video editor has tuned her professional skill set toward crafting and making Spectra’s story both specific and compelling. And her lifetime passion and 10-year career as a performer and creative in the arts have given her a unique perspective and unwavering commitment to the magical art form of theatre.
Trent Saunders
Chief Operating Officer
Trent has spent 10 years as a theatre and corporate professional in roles as diverse as Broadway actor, SAFD-certified fight captain, director, producer and educator.
His many years working at the highest levels of the Broadway machine have given him deep awareness of organizational structures and a passion for imagining systems that work better for the people who labor within them.
Kim Saunders
Chief Executive Officer
Kim’s Renaissance brain is powered by problems that don’t fit neatly into domain-specific boxes.
Whether technical, artistic or political, these problems demand systemic solutions only accessible through story-driven collaboration , which Kim’s 35 years in cross-industry executive leadership make uniquely possible.
Blake Saunders
Chief Education Officer (Advisor)
Blake’s 14 years as an inner-city high school music teacher, conductor and theater director have allowed him to express his deep commitment to the process of education, which in his words is about ‘learning to be a good human.’
His joy in music performance and love of sports have also led to over 8 years on the Seattle Seahawks Blue Thunder drumline.
